Overview

New Orleans International Airport: Governance, Regional Cooperation and Airport Expansion analyzes the airport’s conditions limiting its physical expansion and approaches to regional cooperation used by airports in similar geopolitical circumstances. Specifically, these circumstances include ownership and authority over the airport residing in one political jurisdiction, the location of airport in another, and a need to expand in a third. It makes recommendations for changes by the Airport and the New Orleans Aviation Board.
