Executive Director of the Center for Inter-American Policy and Research at Tulane University.

Joined the BGR board in 2008.

He also serves as a board member of the Audubon Commission, Tulane’s President’s Council, and the Board of Advisers of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

Norma Grace

Retired Vice Chancellor for Economic Development from the University of New Orleans.

Joined the BGR board in 2011.

Other civic activities include Women United, Past Chair; Board member, United Way of Southeast Louisiana; Alliance Francaise of New Orleans, immediate past President; World War II Theater Board, Treasurer; Parkway Partners, Chair; Crimestoppers GNO, board member.

Secretary

Merritt Lane

Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Canal Barge Company, Inc.

Joined the BGR Board in 2015.

Past service as Board Chairman of Isidore Newman School, the Idea Village (where he continues to serve as a member), and the Baptist Community Ministries Foundation; and current service as a member on the Board of The Nature Conservancy of Louisiana, the National World War II Museum, the Bricolage Academy, and as an Executive Committee member of the Business Council of New Orleans & the River Region.

He is also a member of the Tulane University School of Public Health Dean’s Council.

Maureen Clary

Director of Asset Management with Corporate Realty, Inc.

Joined the BGR board in 2015.

Maureen’s other community involvement includes serving the past chair of Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West, past commissioner for the Louisiana Housing Finance Authority and current board member of the Northshore Housing Initiative.

Assistant Secretary

Nathalie G. Simon

Special Counsel to the CEO & President – Public Policy Initiatives at Laitram, LLC., a global manufacturing company located in Harahan, Louisiana.

Joined BGR in 2014 and currently serves as an Officer of the board in the role of Assistant Secretary.

Nathalie’s other civic engagement consists of service on the boards of the Contemporary Arts Center and The Audubon Nature Institute.

Joined the BGR Board in 2005.

Chaired the boards of Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans, Trinity Episcopal School and Lambeth House.

Christine Albert

Vice President of Marketing and Communications at LCMC Health.

Joined the BGR Board in 2018.

Board member of the American Hospital Association’s Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD) and an active member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) New Orleans Chapter.

Susan Brennan

President and CEO of Second Line Stages.

Joined the BGR Board in 2017.

Susan’s other civic engagement consists of service on the Boards of The Arts Council of New Orleans, The Metropolitan Crime Commission, Young Life, the Cool Cooperative, Court 13, Louisiana Film and Entertainment Association and Prospect New Orleans, which she chaired for the last 10 years.

Kelly Brown

Newly retired CPA.

Joined the Board in 2015.

Kelly’s other civic engagements include the New Orleans City Planning Commission, which she chaired for two years, the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC) and the NOCCA Institute Board of Directors.

 

Charmaine Caccioppi

Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with United Way of Southeast Louisiana.

Joined the BGR Board in 2015.

Charmaine’s other civic engagement consists of service on the Boards of the Louisiana Women’s Policy and Research Commission and Education’s Next Horizon, which she chaired for two years.

A member for more than four years on Louisiana Budget Project.

Charmaine also has served on the Board of the New Orleans Family Justice Center since 2014

Andrea Chen

Executive Director and co-Founder of Propeller: A Force for Social Innovation.

Joined the BGR board in 2017.

Andrea also serves on the board of Public Lab and served on Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s transition advisory board.

Jaimmé A. Collins

Capital Partner with Adams and Reese LLP in the Commercial Litigation section.

Joined the BGR Board in 2018.

Jaimmé’s other civic engagement consists of service as a: Fellow of the Norman C. Francis Leadership Institute; Trustee of the University Medical Center New Orleans since 2013; and Trustee of the Children’s Bureau of New Orleans since 2010, which she chaired for four years.

Leah N. Engelhardt

Leah’s other civic engagements consist of service on the Boards of The Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans, The Junior League of New Orleans, for which she served as President, and Citizens for 1 Greater New Orleans, for which she currently serves as Chairman of the Board.

She also serves as a representative on the Forward New Orleans coalition.

Louis M. Freeman, Jr.

Louis’ other civic engagement consists of service on the Boards of Innovation Catalyst and the Rosamary Foundation, and on the community advisory committee of Bastion, Community of Resilience.

Alex Gershanik

President of The Power Courses.

Joined the BGR Board in 2017.

Alex’s other civic engagement consists of service on the Boards of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, Second Harvest Food Bank and New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation.

Hunter G. Hill

New Orleans Market President for IBERIABANK.

Joined the BGR Board 2015 and currently serves on the Executive Committee.

Hunter also serves on the Boards of Greater New Orleans, Inc., New Orleans Museum of Art, Jefferson Business Council, and The New Orleans Center for Creative Arts.

Additionally, Hunter is the Treasurer of Young Presidents Organization and an Elder at St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church.

Andy Lee

Partner at Jones Walker.

Joined the BGR Board in 2016.

Andy’s other civic engagement consists of service on the Boards of Ellis Marsalis Center for Music,  and the Louisiana Center for Children’s Rights.

He is a former board member of the Federal Bar Association and the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity, which he chaired for two years.

Marty Mayer

President and CEO of Stirling Properties.

Joined the BGR Board in 2014.

Marty serves on the board of numerous industry and business organizations, including International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), Greater New Orleans, Inc. (Chaired, 2009-1010), Louisiana Association of Business & Industry (LABI), Northshore Community Foundation and St. Tammany Development District.

Todd McDonald

Todd’s civic activities include, but are not limited to, the boards of CDFI Fund; National Bankers Association; the Cowen Institute; Independent Community Bankers of America/ICBA, where he serves as a Committee Member; and the Louisiana Workforce Investment Council, where he serves as Chair.

Jennifer Medbery

Larry’s other civic engagement consists of service on the Boards of New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute and KIPP New Orleans, which he currently serves as Chair.

Dennis Woltering

Semi-retired photo-journalist and owner/operator of Dennis Woltering PhotoVideo, LLC.

Joined the BGR Board in 2015.

Dennis also participates in the “Sudden Impact” mock DWI Trial program for local high schools aimed at preventing young people from engaging in impaired and distracted driving.

He is a former board member of the Jefferson Children’s Advocacy Center.
