METAIRIE, La. — The Bureau of Governmental Research is hosting a “breakfast briefing” from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on April 16 at the Sheraton Hotel at 4 Galleria Boulevard in Metairie. BGR President and CEO Rebecca Mowbray will moderate a panel discussion titled “Focusing on Quality of Life in Jefferson Parish: Upgrading Aging Infrastructure.” The event’s speakers will be Cynthia Lee Sheng, Jefferson Parish president; and Mark Drewes, director of Jefferson Parish’s Department of Public Works. First Horizon Bank is a sponsor of the free event.
