Today, the Bureau of Governmental Research (BGR) hosted its second virtual Breakfast Briefing of 2020 – “A Conversation About the Future of Policing in New Orleans: Where Do We Go from Here?” This event, presented on Zoom Webinar, featured Kenneth Polite, Jr., former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and Shaun Ferguson, Superintendent of the New Orleans Police Department. Mr. Polite and Supt. Ferguson discussed a wide range of policing issues important to New Orleans and then answered questions from the audience. BGR’s President and CEO Amy Glovinsky moderated the Q&A session.
