On Saturday at the polls, voters will decide whether to renew three millages, or local taxes, that support the public school system.

Voters have approved the millages each time they’ve appeared on the ballot since 1988. If voters approve the measure, property taxes will remain at the current rate.

A new report from the nonprofit Bureau of Governmental Research is recommending voters approve the millages again. WWNO education reporter Jess Clark sat down with the Bureau’s CEO Amy Glovinsky to talk about why the group recommends renewing those taxes.
