The Bureau of Governmental Research (BGR) invites graduate or undergraduate students interested in public policy to consider our internship opportunities.
Students interested in public administration or related fields can apply to work alongside our award-winning team through our Research Internship. The experience will give students the opportunity to strengthen their public policy research skills by compiling and analyzing key information for BGR research projects. Those interested in amplifying BGR’s work across communications platforms should apply for a Communications Internship.
An internship at BGR will:
• Allow you to apply your talents to our efforts to inform citizens and policymakers on ways to improve government in the New Orleans area
• Sharpen your public policy research skills and ability to execute public communication campaigns
• Be structured to meet your needs. We will work around your class schedule to create your internship hours, and BGR internships can be performed for course credit or compensation.
