Brandy D. Christian, Port of New Orleans President and CEO, spoke at a BGR Breakfast Briefing sponsored by IBERIABANK.
Ms. Christian gave an overview of the Port’s role in the local economy and global commerce, and laid out plans for the future. Highlights included discussion of the port’s economic impact, the future of the Avondale shipyard, privatization of the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad, and the effects of local traffic congestion on the Port.
