The Bureau of Governmental Research last week received the top awards in both categories for which it made entries at the annual Governmental Research Association (GRA) conference in Boston. The awards, for Most Effective Education and Most Distinguished Research, recognized BGR’s reports on property tax subsidies to private enterprise and on blight remediation programs in New Orleans, respectively.
